Hi
I have been buying the Doctor Who series since "Sirens of Time" from the 10th Planet Shop in Barking (Autographed copies)and before that was a fan of the BBV Audio Adventures especially the Sylvester McCoy ones. I am espcially keen on the new 8th Doctor series and the companion chronicles and have also purchased a few Sapphire & Steels. I also enjoyed theh Sarah Jane & Unit Series but the Dalek Empire and Cyberman stuff did not work for me,
Can we possibly have an mp3 file of the stories on the normal CD's?

Hi!
Newbie here!
I have been collecting the Doctor Who audios since The sirens of Time and think they have gone from strength to strength. The last one I listened to was 'Sisters of the Flame' and thought it was the best of this year's brilliant Doctor and Lucie series.
I also collect all Doctor Who spin off series and am greatly looking forward to the next 'unbound' release.
I look forward to posting and chatting to people on these boards!

You can call me Jane. I'm in my late 30's, female, and I've been watching Doctor Who since it was on TVOntario and PBS in the early 80's (I'm Canadian). I lost touch in my mid-teens (I was too busy being moody and punk rock), but over the years I'd rent the odd video of old episodes if I came across them. After the relaunch a friend of mine lent me the DVDs of the Eccleston season, and I was hooked again.
I came across Big Finish on fan forums, and I began picking up discs from various online sellers (I'd already been buying DW figures, so it was an easy transition). The first CD I got was "The Fearmonger," and I concentrated on the 7th Doctor at first (I'm a big fan of 7 & Ace). Eventually I branched out to the other Doctors, spinoffs, and so on (a pattern I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with). I discovered these forums when I came to the Big Finish site to investigate getting a subscription (as "picking things up" had become a monthly experience anyway).
In my day job I'm a nerdy sysadmin who is very thankful she makes enough money to feed her Doctor Who obsession.
p.s. Hey, bdoob/Brian, I have added your podcast to my iTunes downloads, and I'm looking forward to it. Having glanced over your show topics I think I should like it, as I'm a big fan of other British Science Fiction too.

Hello My name is Simon and sometimes when I have been good I am allowed to write for Big Finish. They published my first ever professionally published work of fiction ("The Switching", in Short Trips: Zodiac) and haven't been able to shake me off since. Even when they use weapons. Nothing Tra La La?

Hi everyone! Pat from Illinois, USA here! I'm a big Big Finish fan and can attribute a great deal of my debt load to my collecting habits. I'm an actor in the corn and soybean fields of Illinois (I do dinner theatre in a barn...no...really). One of my biggest dreams is to get a guest spot on a BF audio.

Hello - another american here, my name is Jim and although I'm a huge Dr. Who fan ("My Doctor" was Tom Baker, but the new series have been really good & I've really enjoyed them a lot), what brought me to Big Finish were the Sapphire and Steel audios. I've heard that the Dr. Who adventures are great but never listened to any, maybe I'll get around to that now that they are available to buy as downloads...

Hello. Another new person here. Just popped on to wave to everyone. Discovered BF through the joys of a second hand set of CDs on ebay while trawling for a dvd of the Mind Robber, which my local hmv informed me was deleted. Poo. But on the plus side, a great new avenue for Who in my life.
Charles.

Hi, I'm Alan and have been a Big Finish subscriber since the early days. Have all the main range, companion chronicles and unbound CD's. Daren't want to work out how much I've spent over the years! I am particularly pleased that Colin Baker's Doctor has been vindicated and is given the praise it deserves under Big Finish's Guidance. Like most fans would love to take a small part in a Big Finish. I am keen on amateur dramatics and did a theatre arts class when I left school. Hey, if you don't ask, you don't get!

Hello, my name is Peter and I haven't listened to a Big Finish play for five days now. I watched Doctor Who from The Time Warrior to Destiny of the Daleks (I think) then forgot about it until UK Gold's 40th Anniversary weekend. After this I got my old Target books out of the loft, started to collect the DVD's, started to collect the BBC missing story audio's, bought DWM on holiday, discovered Big Finish and I've now nearly caught up with the rest of you, I've just finished listening to Valhalla. As well as Big Finish audio's, nearly everything has been new to me, which is great, but I don't know anything about the 7th & 8th Doctors from the books published after Survival, does this matter? I love Big Finish and when my Wife hurt her back in an accident and had to give up work it really helped me to escape my problems, I found some great headphones and now I can't hear her moans from pain. This is the first forum I've joined so I apologise if this gets posted in the wrong place or if I've said the wrong things.

Hello!
Just another newbie poppin' my head round the door to say hi. I got into Big Finish through the Eighth Doctor audio series. There's just not enough of Eight out there, in my opinion. :(

Which titles did you write, Jonathan? Hallo, I'm sorry, I didn't see this topic first. The real name is Sabrina, I'm italian (maybe the only italian here? Tell me) I started almost five years ago collecting Sapphire and Steel, when Big Finish's site was still all black. The fact that i just started the second season doesn't mean that I'm lazy. I only have an enormous collection and very few money... The Doctor Who Section of the Italian Studio Ghibli Fan Forum

Hello, My name is Eddy and I am huge fan of both Doctor Who and Big Finish Productions. At the minute my interest is limited to Big Finish’s main two Doctor Who ranges; the magnificent I, Davros; and a smattering of Companion Chronicles but, finances permitting, I am hoping to get into the Unbound and Dalek Empire series very soon. Each month I review Big Finish’s flagship Doctor Who releases for the website, The History of the Doctor (www.doctorwhoreviews.co.uk), which presents all its reviews from the Doctor’s unique chronological perspective. The site also includes reviews of Doctor Who and Torchwood television stories; DVDs; and novels, however during the ‘off season’ it is normally the reviews of Big Finish audios that keep the site ticking over. Reviews of both “The Vengeance of Morbius” and “The Boy That Time Forgot” have recently been added, though be warned – they contain major spoilers! I have been especially impressed with many of this year’s Doctor Who releases – I love what Big Finish are doing with the sixth Doctor and Charley, and I am also very excited about where they are headed with the fifth Doctor; Nyssa; and Brewster. For those that haven’t checked out “The Condemned”; “The Haunting of Thomas Brewster”; or “The Boy That Time Forgot” I would urge you do so – you won’t be disappointed. Well, not unless you have major issues about a certain ex-companion!!!I have only recently started using the forum and I am a little confused about rankings; points; etc. I would be very grateful if someone could let me know what these mean! And also, does anybody know if the login is secure? Kind regards, Eddy http://www.doctorwhoreviews.co.uk

Hello. My name is Felicity, I'm from Northwestern Indiana.
I got interested in Big Finish through the BBC Radio 7 series and one of the CDs from DWM. Now I'm loving the 6th Doctor and Charley adventures. In fact I just started my first subscription with The Doomwood Curse.
When I'm not obsessing about Doctor Who in various forms; DVDs, audios, novels (just picked up "Managra", a 4th Doctor Missing Adventure at a thrift store), or collecting action figures; I work at a television station downloading classic shows to our automation system.
I'll be mostly a lurker, but just wanted to say Hi.
Fel B.
