Where abouts? (xxx mins?) I can't think of a song in it off the top of my head. "omnia audite, omnia videte, nil dicite; omnia edite, omnia bibite, nil prodigite; nunquam aliquid, nisi pro vobis, inhonorati facite"

I would say it's in the last 5 minutes of the track. It's so incredibly moving and morose. Adventures in Writing... Tales of the Red Phantom!

Do you mean the background music, all strings, playing on the radio? There's a radio announcement just at the -1:10 mark that says "The defensive shroud, for cello and strings, by Johann Douglas. With the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Bernard Edwards and lead cellist Marcus Jackson" "omnia audite, omnia videte, nil dicite; omnia edite, omnia bibite, nil prodigite; nunquam aliquid, nisi pro vobis, inhonorati facite"

I've had no luck finding that song. Was it a piece composed solely for the episode? Adventures in Writing... Tales of the Red Phantom!

Yes it was. Composed by Steve Foxon. I can't remember who Johann Douglas was supposed to be, but Bernard Edwards was my grandfather!

Thanks for that, Nigel. It's odd, but when I first heard the play that bit was just in the background (as I suppose it should be!) but now that it's been pointed out it's bugging me that I can't hear it properly as it does sound rather good! Right - who do we have to bribe with Jelly-Babies, Guinness, and Doughnuts to have an MP3 of it released? "omnia audite, omnia videte, nil dicite; omnia edite, omnia bibite, nil prodigite; nunquam aliquid, nisi pro vobis, inhonorati facite"

Isn't a great song or what? I listen to it when I do some research on horror and ghost stories. (emoticon used in a positive way) Adventures in Writing... Tales of the Red Phantom!

Yes I noticed this much more on the second listen. Great piece of music. This is on my list of requests for mp3 along with the songs from the zygon who fell to earth
