Robin Hood - The Tigers Tail by Jonathan Clements 28/02/2009

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Robin-Hood-Tigers-Tail-Finish/dp/1844353885/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226009876&sr=1-10

An addition, at long last, to the Big Finish Classics range it would seem.

Just had a thought, could Michael Praed [Ladiver, Curse of the Daleks - Doctor Who The Stageplays 3] by reprising his Robin of Sherwood [ITV] role?

What's the betting its a tie in to the Godawful BBC Robin Hood?

Good on BF for getting the gig if it is (another string to their bow - arf) but I'd rather have Robin of Sherwood...

Show #4: Nick Briggs Interview (rustling anoraks, Anne Robinson and how we delayed Dalek Empire 4 by an hour!)

Now now, they've managed to completely rehabilitate the 6th Doctor so don't underestimate them being able to do the same to the BBC's Robin Hood, although I agree the challenge is much much bigger!

I wonder if they'll do a couple of Merlin ones as well (if it is a BBC Robin Hood tie in).

I'd rather have Walt Disney's Animated Robin Hood (a classic!) than the current BBC one.

God, I think I'd rather have Kevin Costner ... at least we'd get Alan Rickman's Sheriff.

So, come on BF, spill the beans on what's happening!

Didn't you know? The "Tiger's Tail" in the title is supposed to be an indication that this IS a continuation of the Disney Robin Hood. After all, everyone in the movie had a tail of some sort!

(And for the record, it can be pronounced "Caw-lee" like the dog breed, or "Caw-lay." Either works!)

They decided to continue with the Big Finish Classics range, but why haven't they announced on the news page yet?

Have they? I'll be very surprised if this is part of the BF Classics range.

Does any Big Finish related news EVER get posted first on the News section of this site?

I always seem to hear stuff elsewhere then come to this forum to discuss it. After a few weeks, it pops up in the news section of the site or, every hundred years when the stars align, a podcast is released *SARCASM*.

Sadly, such news is rarely ours to give away: we're often contractually bound to let other agencies release this news first. Your well-founded sarcasm over the podcast is duly noted.

Oh, and this is NOT part of Big Finish Classics.

Please note that the views expressed by Barnaby are his own opinions and do not reflect official Big Finish policy. They may also be daft.

Can you not tell us any thing else? Like; who, what, where, when, wither, and a big sideorder of whence?

Robin Hood?!! It had better be accurate, haha. I personally enjoyed the recent BBC series because it was fun and adventurous but I know a lot of people in the area I live who hated it because of how completely inaccurate it was. d'oh!

Alas, I don't know much more than you chaps as I'm not involved in it. As the risk of sounding like Kanga speaking to Roo, you'll just have to wait and see.

Aw, now I just feel bad for saying grumpy things.
