Hello,

I was wondering, when will the option to start a download subscription starting from "The Doomwood Curse" be available? I want to buy a D/L sub, but I already own TBTTF.

Also, when you buy a download subscription, do you get the "Return of" story at Christmas as a download as well, or is that only for CD's?

Thank you!

Hello gudbuytjane,

It'll be available on the 25th once it's released in the shops.

Kind Regards,

Ooo, it looks like the download section now allows you to start a subscription at a point later than The Boy That Time Forgot, so I've signed up and I'm downloading The Doomwood Curse as I type this! Exciting!

I've been wanting to say for a while how much I love, love, LOVE the download subscription for the main line. Not dealing with CDs makes me incredibly happy, as does knowing that I'm all set for the next play whenever it comes out. Mostly, however, I love not justifying myself to my sci-fi-hating husband every month when the credit card bill arrives. That said, is it at all possible that Companion Chronicles might be offered as a download subscription at some point in the future? I'm not angling for a discount, just hoping to consolidate cost so that I might more easily slip them by my spouse... Whistle

If it's logistically difficult, that's cool, but I thought I'd let you know there is a market for that option if it's not too much work.

p.s. And THANKS for the download only subscription option. Have I mentioned that I'm very fond of it? *grin*

I agree! I'd like to pick up some of the first series Companion Chronicles, but they aren't up for download yet.

I may have missed this when I subscribed to the 3rd Companion Chronicles series but is there an option where you just have the downloaded version of a story as opposed to the cd version?. I ask this cause I downloaded Here There Be Monsters and downloaded that and then a few days later got The Great Space Elevator on CD followed by HTBM on CD.

Hello,
Have you got the download of The Great Space Elevator as well as the CD?
The download still isn't even in my account and it looks like the CD must have gone walkies, just like DW110 did! Brick wall

I've also been wondering this. Theres nothing to clearly indicate yes or no, so I'm just going to presume "Yes" and keep my fingers crossed :-)

Hiya,

It has been discussed, it all depends on how sucessful the download only subscription for the main line is. So watch this space.

Paul

There is no download only subscription service for the Companion Chronicles at the moment. However, you can buy the CDs on their own as downloads.

Paul

Thanks for the response, Paul. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a ton of main line subscribers. (Which you guys should have anyway, since it's such a lovely option.)

Count me in as someone who'd be interested. I'd also buy a D/L sub for the next Eighth Doctor series if/when it was available.

Also, thank you for always responding to our questions and concerns, Paul! :)

That is excellent news. I had assumed that the opposite was true. Could this information be added to the web pages? There is no mention of bonuses (or Big Finish magazines) on the download subscription pages. Are the bonuses sent as discs or downloads? If they are discs, is international shipping factored into the subscription prices? This makes the subscriptions much more enticing.
