I'll second that request! I absolutely loved this range and thought that both series one and two were excellent in their own ways. Still miffed about the cliffhanger at the end of series two though....

Same here! Took me a while to get into the SJS series, but really enjoyed the more adult story telling. Now if BF could pull off a coup where-by Tom's Doctor comes back and rescues her, that would be fantastic tale! "omnia audite, omnia videte, nil dicite; omnia edite, omnia bibite, nil prodigite; nunquam aliquid, nisi pro vobis, inhonorati facite"

I did imagine that the Doctor showed up and saved SJS too. Since that cliffhanger seems destined to go unresolved that's the solution I made up in my head. Having BF actually resolve that story would be really nice. A SJS/any Doctor story would be great, but actually getting Tom Baker to play the Doctor again alongside SJS would be a dream come true.

I loved the both seriesd and do hope there is a third. Nat, Ellie and Josh were like the Maria, Clyde and Luke sort of. But I would like to see what had happned at the end of season two. Or hear I mean. But I could only guess.

Unlikely due to the Sarah Jane Adventures on TV.

He has a blog at http://viciousimagery.blogspot.com/In fact he recently mentioned the audios as being on sale at http://viciousimagery.blogspot.com/2008/10/sarah-jane-smith-audio-dramas-on.htmlI just added a comment to that asking about the cliffhanger. Maybe we'll be lucky and see a response.

I would love for there to be a conclusion of the cliffhanger we were left with. The SJS series is some of the best work I think BF have done.
I'm not after a full series three, just a one off special to tie up loose ends and perhaps bridge the gap between this era of Sarah Janes life and School Reunion. What would be fantastic is a special featuring the Master as portrayed by Geoffrey Beavers, his Master would fit brilliantly with a forth Doctor companion.

At the time of producing series 2, Big Finish had no way to know that they were ending on a cliffhanger that was unlikely to be resolved for some tears to come (at the very least!).
As I recall, Elisabeth Sladen played a large part in the direction of the series, and felt that a set of stories every two or three years was appropriate.
Two years later, Sarah's back on TV and heading for her own TV series, which the BBC presumably won't allow anything to be produced to contradict or (ahem) 'confuse the brand' (ow, that hurt to say!).
It'll be interesting to see what industrious fans do to try to reconcile the audio and TV series in the future...

Yeah, but they could easily either tie the loose ends up with either an audioplay or a short miniseries. I have very set ideas about how to resolve this both in audio and for tv, but I rather doubt they will ask me. The original Sarah Jane Adventures TV site for season one had a video that showed newspaper articles that referenced the audio dramas while giving a bit of background on the character.
Can't access it now as things have been revised so connections outside the UK get a not available in your area message.
