So I guess just you and me that found this very interesting then. Maybe we could persuade them to do some kind of sequel since this is what I imagined in my head when I first read your post.

Yeah, when I read the article, I thought "WOW!" and thought other S&S listeners would find it equally as interesting. We all know it's all a cover-up story for what REALLY happened, though.. right?

Good point and obviously part of the cover up has involved the creation of a perception filter that only you and I are not effected by. Ah hah the conspiracy is revealed.

Ah yes. That old chestnut. The watches were found. Indeed. Not a cover up, though. I think Cecile is back and she brought the watches with her!
Sequel, anyone?
;)

We all know it's all a cover-up story for what REALLY happened, though.. right? Well, we know there are agents trained in various types of cleanup operations. :-) A sequel would be great. That's one of my favorite S&S stories. I even wrote about it on my blog here: http://u-town.com/collins/?p=146

And! Any sequel could all be set in the present day. No time travelling necessary! Now, where's that fourth season... RD

R Would be very interested in a sequel this story had a real sense of place in the different times and I think that that is why it is one of the ones I have given repeated listens to. Also the characters are well drawn and complex so draw you into the story. Thus acheiving Nigel idea that the audios should concentrate on letting us get to know the other characters in each story as if too much is revealed about Sapphire and Steeel then the mystery is lost.

Thank you. Although it must be said that any audio is a a real team effort - not least of which comes from the director/script editor, Nigel himself, (not to mention sound engineer and composer, Steve Foxon) as well as the gifted geniuses that actually bring the characters to life with such vim and vigour! I think I was very lucky with such a great cast.
Who'd have thunk that those old watches would turn up and make the play "current" again! I must remember to set all my work around real people/events!

Yes please! MANY more stories of that quality would be stellar! And the actual event tie in does create extra interest, such as the veiled hints about the "Marie Celeste" in the video series... Maybe Ambrose Bierce could have "paid the price" for messing about with Time... --Jim
